Siberian Tiger

The Siberian Tiger

Siberian tigers, weighing 660 lbs and stretching to a length of 10.75 feet, are among the worlds largest cats. They are found mainly is Russia and have a struggling population of less than 500 cats living in the wild. These tigers are suffering from severe habitat loss due to a large variety of different factors, but Russia is working to prevent these issues from continuing to wipe out the population. They have evolved over time to have an incredibly strong jaw and 30 deadly teeth.

Come visit them in our Weapons of Mass Evolution exhibit and learn about how important it is to save these magnificent felines from going extinct.
